Sunday night climaxed the ending of the last quarterly conference for his year.
School of Wisdom was at its best with Elder Roberts as superintendent. "The Problem of Christian Freedom!" (the subject of the lesson) was wonderfully discussed by the various classes.
Our presider, Bishop, Clinton gave enlightening instructions along the lines of the church and the Bible. He asked the question, "Are we ready for the change?" He said he wondered if we believed that we were in the School of Christ for just saying it to be saying it.
Prince H. Williams gave the summary and many wonderful thoughts were gleaned. However in Sunday nights service a spicy program was rendered by the youths for our presider, followed by a high spirited devotional service. You talking about a good time friends, we had it. The spirit of the Lord was upon us. Again our presider came to us to bring us what thus saith the Lord. He sang, "Get Right Saints." His sermon was "The Black Horse Dry" scriptures, Rev, 6:5; Daniel 12. In his delivery he requested us to stand still and see the salvation of God, because the same way that God delivered the children of Israel he will deliver us, if we have faith and believe.
Our thought for today: "Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till the end be; for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days."
