The Reverend R. N. Wilkinson yesterday outlined services for Holy Week at the Community Baptist Church.
He has chosen as his Palm Sunday's sermon topic, "A challenging decision".
Services start at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The Palm Sunday processional will be sung by the senior and youth choirs, and the children's choir will sing "Hosanna".
For his evening services, Rev. Wilkinson has chosen for his sermon: "Who is He?" Five believers will be baptized. There will also be special music. Services begin at 7:30 p.m.
There will be no services on Wednesday evening.
Thursday evening Rev. Wilkinson will present a meditation and the Reverend Glenn L. Chandler, skipper of the Evangel, will conduct the communion services, assisted by the deacons.
Henry Brooks will present organ music.
On Easter Sunday, five choirs of the church will present Easter music, with Mrs. C. F. Ekelof as the soloist. Services begin at 11 a.m.
At 7:30 p.m. Easter evening the adults of the church will give a play, entitled, The Challenge of the Cross. The senior choir of the Hillside Chapel, NOB, will sing.
Monday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m., the Sunday School will give its annual Easter program with recitations, plays and music.
The public is invited to all the services of the church.
