JAMAICA, MAY 23.

Com. Aury.—Information has been derived, by the sloop Dolphin, direct from St. Domingo, that Aury effected a landing, some time in the early part of May at Samana; and after encamping some troops, proceeded to Palanque Bay, a few leagues to leeward of the city of St. Domingo, where he had established his head-quarters. In consequence of this intelligence, all the regulars and militia at the capital, had been put under arms for the purpose of marching to Palanque to dislodge him. It will be recollected that Samana is to the eastward of St. Domingo, in the Bay of the same name. It is said to have the advantage over all the other places as a maritime port.
