From the Southern Coast.

The Savannah Republican of this morning says the Yankees are in full possession of St. John's river, Florida. About twenty-five hundred Federals at Jacksonville tore up the railroad, using the iron for defense of the city.

A special dispatch to the Republican from Baldwin, Florida, says a small detachment of Confederates stole on a Yankee picket guard near Jacksonville, killing four and capturing three. Lieut. Strange and three Confederates were wounded, it is feared mortally.
