Whitman Area Camp Fire Girls from Dayton, Pasco, Kennewick Prescott, Waitsburg, Milton-Freewater, and Richland will be summer camping at Clear Lake on Rim Rock. Camp craft, music, nature lore, swimming, boating, handicraft, dramatics, and folk dancing are among the many fascinating activities which will be provided for the girls by a competent staff headed by Miss Marie Switzer of Walla Walla and Tacoma.

Registrations for the week of June 26 to July 3 have closed with 112 girls now registered for that period. The largest registration is from Kennewick with 37 girls planning to attend. Kennewick has had the largest registration for the past two years showing the keen interest of the girls and adults in Kennewick in summer camping. Leaders are advised to maintain a waiting list of girls who wish to attend camp and who can go the week of June 19 to June 26 as tentative plans are under way for camping that period. Whether camp will be opened that week depends on the number of prospective registrations.
