"Yesterday a rumour was prevalent,
that dispatches had been forwarded to
the British minister at Vienna, instruct-
ing him to try to prevail on the Emperor
to renew the war, in consequence of the
resistance made by the people of Switzer.

try appears to be in a very unsettled state,
owing to the procrastination in settling

The English travellers who return from
France, bring back very different ac-
counts of that country. Some are dis-
gusted, and say that all is insipidity and
uninteresting : Others return in raptures
with every thing they have seen, bring-
ing in their pockets Louis D'ors and
Crowns to show their countrymen that
gold and silver is the only medium used
in France, while England is so inundat.
