COCHISE

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Clifford and Mrs. Gilbert Clifford, of Safford, were guests at the Cochise hotel Monday.

Mrs. Frank Carey left Tuesday for California.

The old Norton Morgan store building will soon be reopened for business. F. D. Aker, who will be associated with his brother, will put in a stock of groceries and eventually build camp cabins. This will be quite an improvement to Cochise.

P. W. Hamilton, of Coolidge, was a business visitor in Cochise Sunday.

Nowel Whitmire, of Russelville, delivered fine pears in Cochise that were grown near Johnson.

Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Parker, of Servoss, were trading in Cochise Monday.

Dr. and Mrs. J. C. Wilson, of Willcox, were in Cochise Sunday on their way to the Helldorado. They breakfasted at the Cochise hotel while repair work was done on their car.

Herbert Bruner and Ray Trappman returned Monday evening from a hunting trip in the Swisshelms with no luck.

J. R. Welch, who has been employed on a ranch near Fort Huachuca, with his family visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Welch, Sunday.

B. O. Payne drove to Willcox Saturday on business.

H. L. Bruner was a business visitor in Tombstone and Bisbee Tuesday.

Mrs. Arah Brasfield and Mrs. Mabel Davis attended the Helldorado Saturday and Sunday.

Henry Meins was in from his cattle and bee ranch Tuesday.

A. H. Gardner, of Tombstone, was a Cochise visitor Friday.

Judge and Mrs. Albert M. Sames were visitors in Cochise Thursday.

Fred Kenney, republican candidate for sheriff, was in Cochise Wednesday.

Ed Herron was a Willcox visitor Friday.

Wooster Whitmire, of Russelville, visited Cochise Friday.

Will Adams, of Texas canyon, stopped in Cochise Thursday on his way to Willcox.
