The theatre fire, which was of unknown origin, broke out in a small room in which was stored a number of seat cushions, and did approximately $50 worth of damage before it was extinguished. There was no one in the theatre at the time, according to the fire chief. The alarm was turned in over the telephone by a nearby garage man.
