Full Text

Many Pardon Applications.
Oklahoma City, Dec. 10.—As the
administration of Governor Cruce
draws near to its close, the number
of seekers after pardons seems to
be increasing. The session of the
board of prison control that is being
held this week has been very busy
with applicants for executive clemency.
There seems to be an impression
among relatives of persons
who are in the penitentiary that they
will have a better chance with the
present governor. This probably because
he has had many of the cases
before him for consideration.
