The 35th anniversary of the evacuation of this city by the British troops, was celebrated yesterday in the customary manner. Salutes were fired at sunrise and at noon. The national flag was displayed at the public places and on board the shipping. Gen. Stevens' brigade of artillery turned out on the occasion, and made a fine appearance. The line was formed in Hudson street, where they were reviewed by the major general—and, after marching through several of the principal streets, passed in review of his excellency the Governor, in front of the city hall; when a feu de joie was fired, and the whole dismissed. In the evening the Theatre, Museum, and other public buildings, were handsomely illuminated.
