WILLIAMSBURGH ITEMS

School Board of Finance.-At an adjourned meeting of this Board on Thursday evening, the following appropriations were made:

School District No. 1-Teachers' wages, $10,500; books and stationery $200; fuel $300; repairs $500; salary of Janitors, $500; flagging yard in No. 1 $200; Librarian's salary $15; library money $250; contingent expenses, $300; for deficiencies of appropriations of 1852, $750. Total, $13,850.

To the above amounts appropriated, are to be added the following unexpended balances: Fuel, $50; teachers' wages $500; books $400; for flagging yard, $50. Total $1,040.

Appropriations for School District No. 2-For teachers' wages $8,000; books and stationery $300; fuel $450; contingent expenses $50; Janitor's salary $150; library money $200; Librarian's salary $100; rent of Primary School $1,000; ordinary repairs 200; deficiencies 156. Total $11,946.

The Board adjourned to Thursday evening next.
