CANNERY ARE
PUTTING UP BIG PACK SALMON

Harry Schultze and Jos. Burke,
both gentlemen being connected
with the marshall's office, made a
hurried trip to Goose Bay Tuesday
afternoon, returning the same night.
In addition to other valuable
information these gentlemen gave
out they did tell some
of importance
and that is that the Deep Sea Salmon
company at Goose Bay have
packed 7,000 cases of salmon since
the run started.
There are 48
cans of salmon in a case and the company
is putting up both the flat and
all size this season.
They say that
Superintendent Bushman is contemplating
additional improvements for
the plant and expects a good season.
