DEVEL. BOARD IN SUPPORT
OF ARR APPROPRIATIONS

Alaska Development Board indicated its full support of appropriations for Seward-Portage rehabilitation and docks in a telegram received Wednesday by Win Ervin, president Seward Chamber of Commerce. Full text of the message is as follows:

"Alaska Development Board fully supports requested appropriations by Alaska Railroad and recommendations of Bureau of Budget and Department of Interior for rehabilitation of Seward dock facilities and Alaska Railroad. We wish to emphasize that when Ralph Browne was quoting from reports published by Alaska Development Board he was in effect in most cases quoting himself and that work which he performed was not done under supervision of present Board management.
