It won't be long now before it will be possible for Minnesota and Wisconsin women to try out Nylon hosiery, the new product made out of air, water, coal and this and that.
One woman who has actually tried out the new hose reports that she wore one pair for 28 consecutive days. After 28 days and 29 washings, the heels of her pair were not even rubbed dull and thin. One snag occurred in a knee, but it did not run for several days, she said.
The Nylon hose are as finely woven as three-thread hose, even in texture, and have plenty of elasticity. After being washed they dry quickly and go back into shape almost at once instead of hanging shapelessly.
The hosiery is expected to go on the market around June and will probably sell for about $1.25 a pair.
