Search for Mayor Of Atlanta Is Getting Hot
The City-Wide search for the Mayor of Social Atlanta being held by the Eight Racketeers is at full blast. Yesterday's announcement of this search brought forth and added enthusiasm and many new suggestions, some of which will be used but we are no nearer an answer than we were but on Monday night. October 14. we will unearth him. There is a beautiful 14 inch silver loving cup, waiting for its new owner to claim it. When the Mayor is crowned there will be a dance in his honor at Sunset Casino and so much prestige is attached until the boys deemed it wise to engage two orchestras to play for the ball. If you have not heard J Neal Montgomery and his orchestra will be there and so will one of Dixie's outstanding bands. The Southern Aristocrats. Sweet music for those who desire it by that crack musical unit of Neal Montgomery and scorchers by the up and coming Southern Aristocrats. Who will you vote for in the contest? This swellegant hop starts at nine o'clock and will last until two.
