To-day at 11 o'clock a party composed of the Rev. Dr. Newman, Mrs. Newman, Mrs. Burr, Miss Burr, Miss Emery, and Miss Duncanson will leave for Round Lake, N. Y., to attend the dedication of the Museum of Archaeology, donated by Congressman George West. Senator Evarts, Gen. Di Cesnola, and Dr. Newman will deliver addresses. From there they will go to Niagara, at which point they will separate, Dr. and Mrs. Newman going to Topeka, Kans., where the doctor will speak four days in succession to the Chautauqua Assembly there. San Francisco will be the next point, and there they will be the guests of Senator and Mrs. Stanford, and where the doctor will preach on two Sabbaths. From the Golden Gate they will go to Portland, Oreg., and thence, by way of the Northern Pacific, to the Yellowstone Park, where they propose remaining about ten days. On Sept. 4 Dr. Newman preaches at the annual state fair at Des Moines, Iowa, and the journey from there will be to Long Branch, where, by special invitation, a week will be spent with the Grant family.
