A WOMAN FOUR DAYS WITH A LARGE NAIL IN HER HEAD.
—New Cure For INSANITY.—

About ten days ago, Mrs. Robt. Taylor, a lady about 30 years of age, living near Greenville in this county, who has been of unsound mind for some time past, and frequent in complaints of a pain in her head, got a large nail and drove it up to the head in her skull. For four days she concealed the act, but about six days ago the family discovered what she had done and sent for Dr. Jno M. Tate, of Greenville, who, with the use of some force, extracted the nail and the patient is doing well. The strangest thing about it is that Mrs. Taylor's mind has been perfectly restored by this remarkable operation.—Vindicator.
