ACCUSED OF ASSAULT.
Harry Lord Arrested at the Instance of His Wife.

Harry Lord, of Filmore avenue, was yesterday arrested by Detective Clifford on a warrant issued from the office of Alderman Howe, at the instance of his wife, who charged him with assault and battery.

She claimed that Tuesday evening he beat and abused her while they were near Ninth street, and used her in a brutal manner.

Lord entered bail in the sum of $500 before Alderman Johns, of West Scranton, for his appearance at court.
