THREE MEN ARE DROWNED
Launch Capsizes in Storm on Lake
Superior.

Three of a pleasure party of five Two Harbors men were drowned when in a heavy sea, kicked up by a terrific wind along the north shore, a gasoline launch and a rowboat were capsized near Encampment island. The drowned were:

Roy Sullivan, twenty, John Strand, about forty-five, and Ingvald Amundsen, eighteen. They went down with the launch, and Robert Johnson, thirty-five years old, was thrown into the water when the launch's rowboat sank but managed to swim ashore, where Edwin Strand, fifteen years old, the fifth member of the party, had been left a few minutes before and was waiting for Johnson to take him to the launch.
