Extract of a Letter from Bath, dated Aug. 12.

"There is a great noise here about Mr. Pitt's second resignation: his admirers praise the firmness and resolution with which he adheres to his primitive conduct, from which neither hopes nor fears, flattery nor censure, have been able to change his virtue: others again turn it into ridicule, and say, that the whole tenor of his conduct is a succession of changes; but that Wind changing Warwick now will change no more."

"There are many candidates for the vacancy of parliament, but it is confidently asserted, that the celebrated Mr. D--- will be elected in his room."
