HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, 1814.
The house resumed the consideration of the resolution declaring it expedient at this time to remove from the City of Washington.
The adoption of this resolve was opposed by Forsyth of Geo. and Hawkins of Ky. and advocated by Messrs. Sharp of Ky. Bowen of Ten, and Ingersoll of Penn. The debate was able and animated.
The question on the passage of the resolution was decided as follows:
