The nominating committee of the progressive Republicans announced Tuesday night that petitions had been filed or would be filed at once for the following state ticket:
Governor—Philip B. Stewart.
Attorney General—Ben Griffith.
Long term U. S. senator—Merla D. Vincent.
State Treasurer—O. B. Cass of Denver.
Secretary of State—E. R. Boern of Ouray.
Regent University—B. P. Smith of Delta.
Congressman at large—Clarence Dodge of Colorado Springs.
Congressman First District—Geo. Coulson of Fort Collins.
Congressman Second District—Dr. Van Buskirk of Rocky Ford.
No nominations were made for lieutenant governor, superintendent of public instruction, short term senator or judge of supreme court.
