FOURTH OF JULY.—We hear, as yet, of but two celebrations of the approaching National Anniversary, in this county—one at Russell, and the other at Wales. Both are to be Temperance Festivals, and to take place on Saturday, the 3d. That at Russell is to be held near the Railroad depot, and will consist of an oration and addresses and a pic-nic collation served up by the Ladies in a neighboring grove of great beauty. James Bishop Esq. will officiate as President of the day; Newman Bishop Jr. and Gardner S. Burbank, as Vice Presidents; and Lester E. Gibbs of Blandford, as Chief Marshal. At Wales there are to be two orations, by Rev. Wm. A. Clapp and S. M. Hewlett. Dr. C. M. Stewart is to act as Chief Marshal. In the evening there will be a display of fireworks. We presume the citizens of the neighboring towns will be welcomed at both places on the occasion; and each doubtless will be innocent, interesting and appropriate commemorations of the day. We hope some friend in each place will send us a brief account of them for publication.

—Since the above was in type we have learned that the Sons of Temperance in this town have decided to have a celebration, to occur on Monday, the 5th.
