The Elector of Bavaria has just published a decree, which is to regulate the divisions of the contributions paid, or to be paid to the French army. 105 classes of proprietors are formed. The 3 first composed of those whose property does not rise above 200 florins, pay nothing; 20 classes composed of those whose property is from 100 to 3000 florins, pay one-fourth or one-third per cent of this sum; 33 classes composed of proprietors of from 3000 to 20,000 florins, pay one-half or three-fourths per cent, and above this sum they pay one or one-half per cent.
