BOSTON, January 23.

Extract of a Letter from London, dated November 9, 1763.

The Ministry is the same as when I wrote you by the last Packet. Our Commoners are all returning from Spaw, France, &c. against the ensuing Session of Parliament, which is fix'd to be the 15th Instant, it is expected to be a very warm one.--Sir Charles Yorke has resign'd his Place as Attorney General --Lord Northumberland has greatly displeased his Irish Subjects, in attempting further Pensions on the Irish List : Lord Kildare is gone over to suppress the Riots.--It is said that Dr. Tucker, Dean of Bristol, will be created a Bishop, by the Title of, Bishop of Albany, With a Salary of £1500 per Annum, to be paid out of His Majesty's Quit Rents in America ; that his Lordship's Residence will be at Albany, where a Place is to be Built at the Expence of the Crown : This Gentleman is remarkable for his great Attention to American Affairs.
