Remarkable Providence.—A son of Mr. Polhamus, of Marbleborough, Ulster county, New York, aged five years, on the 22d day of April last, in playing on the precipice of the falls of that place, fell 60 feet down among the rocks, was carried by the stream about 300 feet below the place where he fell, and was there found the next morning alive, on the opposite bank of the Creek, after having all night in the cold and rain. He has since recovered. The highest perpendicular fall is twenty-five feet. This fact can be attested by the inhabitants of that village.
