The coroner's jury returned a verdict of involuntary manslaughter Monday, December 17 at the inquest into the death of Mrs. Alta Kramer, 45, of 12763 Spencer st., Alsip, Ill.

Eugene "Motorcycle" Thomas was held over for trial on January 6, 1962.

Mrs. Kramer was crushed to death by her auto when Thomas' foot slipped from the brake pedal to the accelerator as he tried to stop the car from rolling. Mrs. Kramer had got out of the car to open the garage door at her home.

Thomas had accompanied Mrs. Kramer home after she came to Robbins to get him to do some painting for her.
