Insurrection at Toulon.
THE intelligence from Toulon, is not agreeable. The Jacobin rebels were still in possession of the city and forts, the 25th ult.--Poultier and Guerin, are there, but in a state of duress. Having collected their force at Toulon, the insurgents marched for Marseilles, in force: but several battalions collected at the latter place, by the deputies on mission, met the insurgents on the road, gave them battle, and after a sharp conflict, defeated them. A force of 30,000 men, is now assembling to lay siege to Toulon, the speedy reduction of which is promised by the deputies at Marseilles. The Toulon fleet is safe in the outer harbour, out of the reach of the insurgents.
