Full Text

STRAGGLERS.—The remainder of those who went down to the great railroad celebration of last Saturday at Sacramento, and did not return next day, are straggling back every day. Jim Cartter, foreman of Washoe No. 4, and some others, arrived by the coaches which came in last evening. A good many are still missing—supposed to be in San Francisco or Marysville, or possibly may still be lingering in Sacramento. The boys had such a good time and were so well treated down there that they evidently hate to leave in a hurry.
