Hawaii War Bond Drive
Loyally Backed By Labor
Honolulu, Hawaii.-A fine tribute to the support given by the workers to the War Bond Drive for Hawaii was expressed by Jack O'Brien, Deputy Administrator, Hawaii War Savings Staff, in a letter to John A. Owens, AFL organizer for Hawaii.
Pointing out that the April war loan campaign was a great success with a total of $18,500,000 raised, Mr. O'Brien said the backbone of the drive was, as usual, the ordinary Series E War Bond. "The Territorial Advisory War Bond Committee, of which you are a member," his letter to Mr. Owens said, "continued to give us its constant support during this campaign. For this we are sincerely grateful."
