OCTOBER BUILDING $4,500 FOR CITY
New Residence and Re-modeling of Another Make Up Report

New building for which permits were issued in October amounted to $4,500 in two permits, Fire Chief E. T. Shepherd stated today. This compared with $27,500 in September this year and $3,850 in October last year.

For the first ten months of the year the total has been $99,550, compared with $337,373 for the corresponding period last year.

The new high school was included in $339,573 in September of last year, which ran up the total for 1935.

There have been 24 permits in 1936, compared with 40 in the first ten months of 1935.

The two permits in October were $2,500 to B. H. Hicks for a new residence on Davis street and $2,000 to T. W. McCracken for remodeling his home on South Garnett street.
