On the day of a bull-fight, he sends a messenger to his wife after each of his performances in the arena, the destruction of six bulls being his usual task, and twice he has been brought home seriously injured. Frascuelo took part in the late bull-fight before the king and queen, and his costume was literally covered with diamonds.
