SOLD AT $975
With the four top bulls drawing from $975 to $800 bids, the annual Casey Livestock Market purebred bull and stock cattle sale brought some of the highest prices seen for some time in Wolf Point. The sale was held Friday at the Casey livestock yards.

Harry Johnston of Wolf Point was high bidder for the bulls, making the $975 purchase. Paul Dassonvillo of Frazer was second, with $900, and a bull purchased for $810 by Lars Stensland of Wolf Point, was the third top animal to be sold. A Saco rancher purchased two bulls at $800 each.

With Everett Baker as auctioneer, the stock cows reached an average of $175.
