Full Text

BOSTON. September 9.

We hear from Philadelphia that the noted Col. Connolly, in whose character there are some traits not much to his credit, has been waited upon by several respectable citizens, and desired to depart the city within ten days, as his residence was very obnoxious to the people in general, and particularly to those Whigs and patriots who have fought and obtained our glorious independence. The militia of Pennsylvania are determined to expel every flagitious scoundrel who has taken sanctuary amongst them, this indulgence they claim from the articles of peace being already expired.
