From Hanover we have the Pleasure of being assured, that the Negotiations at divers Courts about the Election of a King of the Romans, begin to take so good a Turn, that they hope the Electoral Dyet may be convoked next Month: They also flatter themselves, that the Demands and Pretensions of certain Princes may be adjusted in such a Manner, that none of them will thwart or retard this important and necessary Work. Which good News is confirmed by Letters from Vienna, importing, that all Obstacles are removed; that their Imperial Majesties are sure of a Majority in Favour of the Archduke Joseph; and that this Election will not only be agreeable to the German Courts, but also give great Satisfaction to all the Courts in Europe.
