Full Text

HALIFAX. June 16.

We have now in our Harbour 18 Line of Battle Ships 10 or 12 Frigates. &c and near 200 Transports: also about 16000 Men encamped on the Windmill Hill, and Parts adjacent. Their Appearance is vastly grand-- encamped on a rising Ground, where they are continually exercised, and frequently review'd by his Lordship, whose Oeconomy is justly to be praised, as his Pains are indefatigable. The Troops are all free from any Distemper, in high Spirits, and seem impatient for Action.--The Fleet is well equip'd, and the Seamen in such Health and Spirits, as one would think that nothing human could withstand our floating Castles.
