Infant abandoned,

Yesterday afternoon a woman, whose name is supposed to be Keefe, came to this city in one of the second class cars of the Providence Railroad, with two children, one a child about three years old, and the other an infant of three weeks. The latter the mother as she passed out threw under the seats of one of the first class cars, where it was found lying a short time afterwards. The authorities of the road very humanely procured a woman to take care of the child, while efforts were being made to discover the inhuman mother.
