Is this so.—At a recent trial in St. John, in an insurance case, the Etna Company, of London, we presume, being the defendant, the following conversation occurred:
Mr. Hazen—Suppose a house insured in your office, and the assured closes in the summer, and goes with his family into the country a few days is the policy thus vacated.
Mr. Balloch—I deem it so—the policy becomes vitiated.
Mr. Hazen—Do the public understand this?
Mr. Balloch—I don't know.
Mr. Hazen—If they don't, it is certainly high time they did.—Boston Atlas.
