SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 7. -The contradictory testimony of Henry Jeralsen, formerly a gardener for Maurice B. Strellinger (Curtis the actor), caused something of a sensation in the courtroom Monday. On Saturday Jeralsen testified that the pistol found at the scene of the murder of Officer Grant belonged to Strellinger. Monday Jeralsen took the stand and said that his testimony of Saturday was false and that he testified to what the police had told him to say. He said that he had never seen the pistol in Strellinger's possession. The nippers found on Strellinger's wrists were identified as those belonging to Officer Grant.
