BISHOP AND OTHER NOTABLES ATTEND EPISCOPAL MEET HERE

Mrs. Sheldon Leavitt, district president, was heard in a stirring address before the diocesan meeting of the Woman's Auxiliary of the Episcopal Church here Thursday, at St. John's. Reports from local parishes were made at the meeting, attended by approximately forty delegates.

Bishop R. E. Gribben administered the holy communion as the meeting opened. In an address following, he urged the Auxiliary to be generous in contributions.

Other speakers were Miss Cowell, missionary from Japan, Miss Caroline Gillespie, Mrs. Garland Jonas and Rev. W. S. Stoney.

At the midday recess, members of the local Auxiliary entertained the visitors at a luncheon at the home of Mrs. W. W. Neal, Jr.
