Spain. The accounts from the seat of war in Spain continue to be favorable to Cabrera, and every day additional proof is afforded that the boasting Espartero, with all his superior forces will fail in the campaign he has undertaken.— Cabrera's troops are abundantly supplied, whilst those under Espartero and O'Donnel are compelled to draw their means of subsistence from long distances. Cabrera has 22,000-infantry and 2,600 cavalry, besides thirteen battalions of recruits in the garrisons, who, in default of muskets daily exercise with sticks and pikes, and will fill up the gaps created in the organized forces by engagements with the enemy. Cabanero had completely failed in corrupting Cabrera's officers an those who were suspected by the Commandant.
Officers under the Commander in Chief have offered to serve as guerrillas, to prove their loyalty. The members of the Carlist Junta are ever armed with guns, and are in active service.
