KILLED OVER SACK OF TOBACCO.

Orie Lawson and Charley Allen Scuffle—Latter Accidentally Killed.

Yesterday Orie Lawson was tried before Commissioner Robnett on the charge of murder. After hearing the evidence the commissioner dismissed the case, as the evidence clearly showed that the killing of Allen by Lawson was purely accidental.

It seems that on the 27th of November, ten miles northwest of Berwyn, Lawson and Allen got to scuffling over the ownership of a sack of tobacco, and Lawson having a shot gun in his hand, the same was accidentally discharged, the load of bird shot taking effect in Allen's right side.
