Dan Voorhees Out for Greeley

A few weeks ago we said this was a period of wonderful changes, and that we should not be surprised to find the New York World and Dan Voorhees supporting Greeley. Nor are we, now that both are doing so; but their doing so is a condition of the politics of the day. The editor of the Macomb (Ind.) Eagle has interviewed D. W. Voorhees, and has the following report about him:

At Indianapolis, on Thursday of last week, with other of the editorial party, we had the pleasure of meeting D. W. Voorhees, whose position in political matters during the past few weeks has been the subject of considerable discussion in the Democratic press of the country. Mr. Voorhees, in conversation, indicated in language unmistakable, that, while Mr. Greeley was not his choice, yet if endorsed by the Baltimore Convention, he (Voorhees) would labor to the best of his ability for the success of the ticket.
