COMMISSIONERS DISCUSS CITY PROBLEMS AT MEET HELD MONDAY, MAY 24

The Board of Commissioners of the City of Brooksville met Monday, May 24, in the clerk's office on South Brooksville Ave. and discussed problems of city government, but no definite action was taken.

The commissioners considered at some length the possible purchase of two dump trucks to be used by the city for garbage collection and in street repair work. It was thought that two smaller trucks would prove to be more practical than the one large truck now being operated.

A lengthy discussion was entered into concerning the revaluation of property by the members of the commission and a committee of local citizens which is scheduled to start next month.

It was also brought out that the airport lease to the local flying school will expire in July and that the operators of the school have an option to renew the lease for another year if they so desire.
