A Lodge Treasurer Gone.

NEWARK, Dec. 28, 1889.—The members of Bloomfield Lodge, K. U. V., a German sick benefit society, have been placed in an unpleasant position through the disappearance of Gustave Poetch, a butcher, who was treasurer of the society, and who had in his possession its funds, amounting to $176. Poetch, it is reported, has gone to California. William J. Raab, a Bloomfield hotelkeeper, is his bondsman. Poetch's wife has not the least clue to his whereabouts.
