CONNORS IS ENROUTE TO WASHINGTON, D. C.

To present the Democratic organization's slate for Federal patronage in Alaska to National Chairman James A. Farley and President-Elect Roosevelt and confer with the former over Territorial matters, National Committeeman James J. Connors left Juneau last week for Washington, D. C.

The trip is being made at the suggestion of Mr. Farley with whom Mr. Connors has already had considerable correspondence on the subject of patronage.

"I have urged and I am confident, successfully, that none except Alaskans will be put in Federal positions in the Territory." he told the Empire.
