Mrs. Florence Coulter received a letter from her son, Lt. James Coulter, Medical Corps, U. S. Navy, San Diego, that he and his family are comfortably located in their home in that city. The hospital, presently designated as the U. S. Naval Hospital, being enlarged from 700 to 1,000 beds and as of the coming January will be known as the U. S. Naval Medical Center, the largest in the United States. During his four years residency he will be availed a volume of surgical training as to become accredited by the American Board of Surgery.
