State College, Nov. 12. The construction of a new engineering building for the New Mexico College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts will begin shortly after December 1. Bids are now being advertised and will be opened by the board of regents on the 23rd of November. The engineering group in which the new building will be constructed will consist of the central building of three stories, which will contain the main class rooms and offices, and two one-story annexes to contain the woodworking rooms, shops and main engineering laboratories.
The main unit, which is the one about to be constructed, will be completed during the present college year.
President W. E. Garrison and Director Luther Foster have gone to Atlanta, Ga., to attend the annual meeting of the American Association of Agricultural Colleges and Experiment Stations which is being held there. They go as representatives of the New Mexico State College and Experiment Station.
