FREE BAPTIST CHURCH IN BALTIMORE. The fine large church recently erected for the Rev. Dr. Fuller, in Baltimore, is to be free. The original intention was to have it pewed according to the custom of that denomination; and in fact, many of the pews had already been rented or sold, but the holders of them have given them up, believing it to be "in accordance with a leading christian principle, that the Gospel should be preached to the poor." They have done this too notwithstanding the proceeds of the pews thus sold and rented were greatly needed to liquidate the liabilities incurred in the erection of the church.
