BRISTOL. Feb. 1. We have the pleasure to inform our readers that Sir George Yonge has sent a letter to the Worshipful the Mayor of Exeter, signifying that all the Members of the cider counties had waited on the Chancellor of the Exchequer, concerning the repeal of the cider acts and that it was certain those unpopular acts would be totally repealed, whereby the growers and makers of cider, and those who buy cider for their own consumption, will be freed from the payment of any duty; but that a new law would be made, subjecting those who buy cider to sell again in any manner whatever to the excise laws, with an additional duty.
